These terms of use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the lagiga.info website, published by the association GIGA’GAMES Fédération Guadeloupe d’eSports (a French not-for-profit association under the 1901 law, RNA W9G1002800), whose registered office is in Capesterre-Belle-Eau, Guadeloupe. By browsing the site, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms.
Article 1 · Purpose
The purpose of these Terms is to define how the lagiga.info website may be accessed and used. The site is a free showcase and events website. It notably provides: information about the federation and its events (in particular the #GCD GIGA’GAMES 2026), pre-registration forms (player, team manager), a volunteer application, a contact form, as well as public voting for the GIGA’GAMES AWARDS.
Article 2 · Acceptance of the terms
Using the site implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept all or part of these Terms, it is your responsibility not to use the site. The association reserves the right to update the Terms under the conditions set out in Article 12.
Article 3 · Access to the site
Access to the site is free of charge. Connection, equipment and internet access costs remain the responsibility of the user. The site is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, subject to maintenance operations, updates or cases of force majeure. Availability of the site is not guaranteed and may be interrupted at any time, without the association being held liable as a result.
Article 4 · User conduct
The user undertakes to make fair and respectful use of the site. In particular, the user must not transmit, through the forms or any other channel, any unlawful, abusive, defamatory, hateful content or content that infringes the rights of third parties.
In line with the association’s code of good conduct, everyone adopts responsible behaviour, respectful communication and eco-responsible practices, and respects the physical and moral integrity of others, the equipment and property of third parties, as well as privacy.
Article 5 · Pre-registrations and forms
The pre-registration forms (player, team manager), the volunteer application and the contact form allow the user to express interest to the association. Pre-registrations are indicative only: they become firm solely after explicit confirmation by the association. The user undertakes to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
Article 6 · GIGA’GAMES AWARDS voting
The site allows the public to vote for the GIGA’GAMES AWARDS. The voting rules are as follows:
- one vote per email address and per category;
- each vote is validated by a one-time code (OTP) sent by email;
- any attempt at fraud, circumvention or manipulation results in the invalidation of the votes concerned.
The association reserves the right to discard any suspicious vote in order to ensure the fairness of the ballot.
Article 7 · External ticketing and absence of sales terms
No online sales take place directly on lagiga.info. Ticketing (Visitor PASS, stay packages and other paid services) is operated by Yurplan (yp.events), an external provider. Yurplan’s own terms and conditions of sale apply to these transactions. As a result, the lagiga.info website has no terms and conditions of sale: for any purchase, the user refers to Yurplan’s terms.
Article 8 · Intellectual property
The GIGA’GAMES trademark, the logo and the “Mr Giguane” mascot are distinctive signs of the association and are protected. All content on the site (texts, images, graphics, logos, videos) is protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction, representation or use, in whole or in part, without the prior written authorisation of the association is prohibited.
Article 9 · External links and partners
The site may contain links to third-party websites, in particular those of partners or providers such as Yurplan. The association has no control over these sites and disclaims any responsibility for their content, practices or terms of use. Access to these sites is at the user’s sole responsibility.
Article 10 · Liability and availability
The association strives to ensure that the information published on the site is accurate and up to date, without however guaranteeing that it is free from errors or omissions. The announced dates, prices and programmes are subject to change. The association cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from access to the site, its unavailability or the use of the information it contains.
Article 11 · Personal data
The processing of personal data collected through the site (forms, voting, contact) is described in the privacy policy, which sets out the purposes, retention periods and rights of users.
Article 12 · Modification of the Terms
The association reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, in order to adapt them to changes in the site or in applicable regulations. The applicable Terms are those in force at the date the site is accessed. The last update date is shown at the top of this document.
Article 13 · Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute relating to their interpretation or performance, and failing an amicable resolution, jurisdiction is granted to the courts within the jurisdiction of the association’s registered office.
