The Caribbean's first major international esport event
On July 1 and 2, 2022, the Palais des Sports Laura Flessel and the Gaël Monfils Complex in Petit-Bourg hosted the GIGA'GAMES CANOC ESPORTS SERIES, the first international esports chapter tied to the Caribbean Games. Delegations from across the Caribbean and beyond gathered in Guadeloupe for an unprecedented competition blending multi-sport, olympism and esport.
On the programme: Tekken 7 Women International Cup (100% female), VS BATT'LI open versus fighting, SFR Summer Esport Trophy (FIFA 22, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Demon Slayer), Intergenerational Dominoes Trophy, and the 1st edition of the GIGA Lyn'c DJ'S AWARDS.
