The very first Guadeloupean esports gala evening
On Saturday January 24, 2026, the Salle Robert Loyson in Le Moule came alive for the very first GIGA'GAMES AWARDS. The Guadeloupe Esports Federation and its team organised this inaugural gala evening, honouring the best players of the archipelago. Every generation was represented: from young controller prodigies to seniors over 60, through to Guadeloupean esports legends.
The evening honoured 7 categories: Best Esports Players, Female Player of the Year, Creators, Media, Companies, Institutions and more. Nine special Coup de Cœur awards brought waves of emotion to the room. Official photos by @1am_visual.

For the GIGA'GAMES AWARDS 2027, the ambition is even greater: 2 new categories for Casters & Streamers, tributes to the pioneers and legends who shaped Guadeloupean esports history, and a LIVE stream to share the magic with all of Guadeloupe and beyond.
