I am so happy and honoured to have been chosen as patron of this 100% women's tournament during the GIGA'GAMES CANOC ESPORTS SERIES. Often, women, in many fields including esports, are at a disadvantage compared to men. It is therefore with great pride that I welcomed this concept proposed by President Samuel, with no discrimination on prizes or consideration compared to mixed tournaments.
A fan of a huge champion renowned in the fighting-game and esports scene, the French player Kayane, it is also an honour for me to be a patron alongside another female esports figure, the Kenyan Queen Arrow. All the prouder as it creates this connection between the Caribbean and the African continent through electronic sport.
I already invite women from French-speaking countries and the rest of the world to the Caribbean sun, in Guadeloupe, from June 29 to July 3, 2022.
